We offer an incredible Full Unit Buyout program that allows you to rent out both halves of the unit so that you can have your space to yourself!

We have provided a packing list for you to help prepare for move in day! It is typically emailed to you 30 days before your move in day.
We will provide you with an Extra Large Twin bed, a desk, and four drawer dresser. Please note: Mini fridges, microwaves, and desk chairs appear in our model unit, however, they are not provided in the room.

You will set a check in time with your new student advisor for move in day. When you arrive, you will go to the UAT main building and meet your advisor for check in, class schedule, meal card, etc. After that is complete, you will come over to the Founder's Hall table, or be escorted over to the dorms by your advisor.
We will ensure your move in fees are paid, and make sure you have access to your resident portal, keys, and roommate contact information. Then we will show you around and to your room!
We provide an Extra Large Twin sized mattress for you in your room. The dimensions are 38x80 inches, and they are 8 inches thick.
The desks are provided, however, the desk chair is not provided. The desk sits 30 inches tall, and they are 48x36 inches.

We allow residents to have a mini fridge (up to 4.9 cubit feet in size), a microwave, and a Keurig coffee maker in their unit. We provide all other appliances for use in the community kitchen on the third floor. We do not allow for any other appliances in the units.
About 30 days before you move in, you will be matched with a roommate based on the roommate profile you created on your application. The Leasing Manager will look at information such as major, sleep schedule, cleanliness, and other provided information to find a roommate that will fit well with your lifestyle, and match you with a roommate accordingly. You will receive their contact information roughly 30 days prior to move in day.
We have created a Discord server for all future students at UAT! This allows you the space to meet people who will be living on campus with you, meet your RA's, learn about clubs, and connect with your future roommate! Follow the link below to access the Discord!
Unfortunately, we do not accept mail or packages for students prior to move in day. Until they are moved in and considered a current resident, we are not able to accept and log mail or packages in our system under their name and they will be returned to their sender.
GWP, or Guarantor Waiver Program, is our partnership with a company called LEAP, which acts as a guarantor on your behalf. This is our most popular option for students that do not work a typical job, or have a qualified guarantor. This program adds an additional $36 a month to your rent. This charge is not typically covered by financial aid.
There are three options for paying online for rent in the resident portal: Card, Moneygram, and ACH (electronic check). All are available in the resident portal for residents and guarantors to access. The convenience fees on these vary based on bank and payment type.
We do not accept checks on move in day, however, future payments can be made by check made out to Founder's Hall with the resident name and room number in the memo.
If you have worked with your financial aid advisor on having the dorms covered under your financial aid, your stipend check will be process AFTER you have shown up for the first day of classes. Since move in day is prior to classes beginning, your move in fees (deposit and first month's rent) are required prior to moving in to the dorms. Your stipend check will "reimburse" you for the payment you made for your first installment. Please note: Deposits are rarely covered by financial aid!
Just like in conventional housing, your payment is due on the 1st of the month. You are always welcome to add multiple months of rent to your account as credit we pull from when your monthly installment is charged. Many students that utilize financial aid for their dorm payments will make a deposit for the entire semester so they do not have to worry about making monthly payments on the 1st of each month.
We do offer a 5% discount when the entire lease is paid for upfront. If you would like this amount calculated for you, please reach out to the Leasing Manager at Founder's for assistance.
