At the University of Advancing Technology (UAT), this form helps you (or your tax preparer) determine eligibility for education-related tax credits such as the American Opportunity Credit or the Lifetime Learning Credit.


🧾 What’s On a 1098-T Form?

Your 1098-T form includes:

  • The amount billed for qualified tuition and related expenses

  • Scholarships and grants that were processed through UAT

  • Your student identification information

  • UAT’s contact and institutional information

This form does not include information about room, board, insurance, or other non-qualified expenses.

Your 1098-T is available through the Student Portal:

  1. Go to the UAT Student Portal

  2. Log in using your UAT credentials.

  3. Navigate to the Financial Information or Student Accounts section.

  4. Look for an option labeled View 1098-T or Tax Information.

  5. Select the appropriate year to view or download your 1098-T.
