💻 How to Get Tech Help at UAT: Submitting an IT Work Order
Computer crashed? Can’t log in? Wi-Fi being weird? Don’t worry—we’ve got you. The UAT IT team is here to help you keep your digital life running smoothly.
But first, you’ve got to let us know what’s going on—and how you let us know matters!
🛠️ Option 1: Submit a Work Order via the UAT Intranet
Follow these steps to file a tech ticket through the intranet:

Log in to the UAT Intranet
(Having trouble logging in? Skip to Option 2 below! 😉) - On the left navigation bar, find Submit A Work Order.

Click “New Item” in the IT work order section.

Choose a Category – Is it a login issue? Hardware? Wi-Fi? Be specific.

Set Priority – Let us know if it’s urgent (we prioritize broken vs. “mildly annoying”).

Title & Comments – Use a clear title (like “Can’t Access Canvas”) and describe the issue in detail. Vague = delays.

Add Photos/Screenshots – Seeing is troubleshooting.
📧 Option 2: Email IT Directly
If you’re locked out or can’t use the intranet, email the IT team directly at:
BUT WAIT—include these three things, to streamline troubleshooting:

Your Full Name
-
Your UAT Email Address
-
The Specific Problem (i.e., “I forgot my password and can’t log into MyUAT,” not “Help!!”)
🔐 If we can’t verify your identity, we may not be able to reset your password. So help us help you by including the details!

Submitting complete, clear info means faster fixes. The more specific you are, the less time we spend playing email tag 🎯
