NNo back pain. No bookstore chaos. Just fast, digital textbook access—because at UAT, the future is the present.
Your e-textbooks are provided through the UAT Resource Program (that’s what your Resource Fee each semester covers), and they’re managed by the heroic folks at the UAT Resource Team 📚
🧭 Step-by-Step: How to Access Your E-Textbooks
📌 First, go here:
You’ll see links organized by course to help you find what you need.
📬 How Will You Get Your Books?
You’ll usually get your e-text in one of these two ways:
1. 📩 Amazon Kindle Email
-
If your textbook is a Kindle eBook, you’ll get an email (in your student Outlook inbox, not Canvas).
-
The email will include a link to claim your book—click the yellow button that says "Accept and sign in" or "Accept this Kindle Book."
-
You’ll need to use (or create) a personal Amazon account. UAT won’t make one for you.
🛑 Error Message?
If you see a “country/region” error, here’s how to fix it:
-
Go to Amazon → Account & Lists
-
Then → Content Library > Preferences > Country/Region Settings
-
Set your country to United States
-
Try the link again—you should be good to go!
2. 📘 VitalSource via Canvas
-
Some books will be accessible directly inside your Canvas course shell.
-
Check the Announcements tab at the start of class for instructions.
-
Not seeing anything? Reach out to your professor or the Resource Team.
